What first got you into music?
Both of my parents were involved in music, so I was always around music from a very early age. But I didn’t really decide to pursue it professionally until after High school.
Who inspired you to make music?
I’ve always gravitated to classic artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Sade and Christina Aguilera, more recently I like Arianna Grande, H.E.R., and SZA
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
The music I make lyrically is usually a reflection of where I am at in my life. It can be dark, happy, sad etc. just depending on what the instrumental track brings out in me.
Can you discuss a career achievement you’re aiming for?
Just getting my music out there, and hopefully people will enjoy it.
How do you overcome writer’s block?
I lean on people I collaborate with to bounce ideas off of.
What album do you recommend everyone should listen to?
I like Arianna’s new album, I think that is a good listen.
Can you share one of your favorite music-related memories?
Singing in the car with my parents when I was a kid.
What’s your go-to song or artist when you need a boost?
I don’t have a consistent “go to” it depends on my mood and what’s going on in my life at that moment in time.
Do you have a favorite venue to play at or attend concerts?
I like seeing live music at the Hollywood Bowl.
Who would you swap lives with for a day in the music industry?
Taylor Swift , it would be interesting to see what that sort of mega success looks and feels like.
What’s your favorite music decade and why?
I like music from across all decades so I can’t give you a definitive answer.
What’s a truly unforgettable concert you’ve attended?
Christina Aguilera and listening to Diana Ross sing at Beyonce’s birthday concert at Sofi Stadium, I also really enjoyed seeing Mariah Carey perform.

It’s called Broken, and it’s about knowing you deserve love despite your brokenness…….I also have a great new song coming out in May called “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore” it’s a brilliant song…..
