What first got you into music?
My father was in a band when I was little. Growing up watching him write songs and recording music was very influential on me as a child.

Who inspired you to make music?
I would say watching my dad. Both of my parents were very supportive. I can’t quite remember, to be honest, as far back as I can remember I wanted to make music.

How would you describe the music that you typically create? Timeless, moody, nostalgic, authentic, transparent. Can you discuss a career achievement you’re aiming for?
How about winning a grammy? But realistically at this point in my career, I would love to have a song placed in film or tv, maybe start getting some radio play.

How do you overcome writer’s block?
I will usually take a break and come back to it, sometimes you just end up over thinking things, you get way too “Inside” the song, sometimes you just need to step out of it and take a birds eye view, or ask for help from people I’m collaborating with.

What album do you recommend everyone should listen to? Veil of Tears, it’s my upcoming EP. I’m so proud of the project. Can you share one of your favorite music-related memories?
Singing in the car with my parents as a child.

What’s your go-to song or artist when you need a boost?
I like to listen to different artists at different times. It really just depends. I think right now it’s The Beach Boys. They have such beautiful harmonies. The songs are classics and remind me of my childhood, because my dad and I used to listen them with my dad. They never fail to put a smile on my face.

Do you have a favorite venue to play at or attend concerts?
I love the Hollywood bowl. The location is beautiful and not too far from me. I love the way the sun reflects off the mountains at dusk.

Who would you swap lives with for a day in the music industry?
I think right now maybe Arianna Grande. I love music and I would love to act as well. I like musical theater I love Wicked and I think it’s amazing that she’s staring in it and releasing music as well.

What’s your favorite music decade and why?
That’s a tough for me. There is something to appreciate in most decades for me. I love the regency era.. the extravagance. I love the 40’s.. film noir and torch songs…Gangsters. The 50’s pillbox hats and adorable matching sets. The 60’s was iconic in every way. 70’s – 00’s also iconic.. I could go on and on.

What’s a truly unforgettable concert you’ve attended?
Beyoncé Renaissance, because Diana Ross came out to wish her happy birthday and blessed my ears with her iconic voice.

Tell me about your most recent released song
My most recently released song is called “Love don’t live here anymore.” It’s a song about heartbreak and leaving a relationship even though you don’t want to.
